You may need to see a pulmonologist if you experience symptoms such as persistent cough, sputum, bloody sputum (hemoptysis), wheezing, shortness of breath, difficulty lying flat (orthopnea), or bluish discoloration of nails and lips (cyanosis). These are signs of underlying lung problems that require medical attention.
Our department is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities, including flexible bronchoscopy for both diagnostic and therapeutic use, airway stent placement, right heart catheterization, a pulmonary function lab, a sleep lab, pulmonary rehabilitation services, and home oxygen therapy with specialized respiratory equipment. We also have state-of-the-art ventilators such as high-frequency oscillatory ventilators (HFOV) and non-invasive ventilators like BiPAP machines.
